I Corinthians 14:35."The bible teaches that women brought sin and death into the world, that she precipitated the fall of the race, that she was arraigned before the judgment seat of Heaven, tried, condemned and sentenced. Marriage for her was to be a condition of bondage, maternity a period suffering and anguish, and in silence and subjection, she was to play the role of a dependent on man's bounty for all her material wants, and for all the information she might desire... Here is the Bible position of woman briefly summed up."
If one ever wishes to find an explanation of woman's inferiority to men, one only has to look in the Bible. Paul makes clear and delineates the importance of woman recognizing her place, "ad nauseam." (See also I Cor. 11:3-12, I Timothy 2:8-15, I Peter 3:1-7, Ephesians 5:22-24, Col. 3:18-19.)

the bible was written by closed minded men.
your point is??

at the end of the day, if the bible had been written by women in a female dominated soceity it would have probably blamed everything on men.

You are very wrong the Bible does not teach that women brought sin and death into the world, it actually says that through one Man sin entered into the world, so it is through one man that sin and death entered into the world(Romans5:12) not woman,it also never teaches that women are inferior because they are not, that teaching comes not from God's Word the Bible but from man's word especially man that does not understand the Bible, just as you show a lack of understanding of the Bible,by your erroneous summation of the Bible's portrayal of women, that is flawed because you leave out much important information about what the Bible actually says about women. You should do more research instead of stating as fact, what is not!

The fact that in your question you can't form a real sentence speaks volumes about a male's intelligence and inferiority-- if you want me to start on that. Personally, I think we are equal--but you just chose to put women down and hid behind a 2000 year old book to do it. So in short you just opened a can of worms. We are not in any way inferior to the male gender; just because you have an extra (apparently small) flab of skin hanging between your thighs does not make you any better than me. Apparently the meat between my ears has outgrown yours.

Quoting a book of questionable origin does not make you better either--it just shows how cruel you can be, justifying yourself with a book. The only real men are the ones that treat us well, and don't call us inferior or think of us in any way but equal. I am thankful men like you are a dying breed, and I am thankful that my man is quite the opposite of you. Religion is being used to put women down, and you just proved that to all of us. Thank you for showing just how horrible supremist men and their male-based religions can be. I wonder--now do the religious people on here see why women that respect themselves refuse to fall victim to such a hateful, spiteful, sexist religion?

And marriage a "condition of bondage"? No wonder women like me that respect ourselves dislike marriage the way we do--we've seen far too much of this. All of your quotes serve to prove that your particular religion (or at least these parts of it) are simply put forth to control women. I would rather burn in Hell than serve a God that tells we women are inferior to men, because that is a blatant lie through and through.

Why not quote another storybook with the same questionable authorship--James Patterson? Your fight is invalid. You are not a real man. Anyone that would follow a book that cruel has some mental reevaluation to do.

Thank you, John.

I don't know about crude movies but , yes, she did start animal husbandry. The woman had to stay in camp while men went hunting. She had time to be inventive and thus created culture. By doing so, she made us more human. Men realized that women could be independent and needed to feel important so women let them had the leading role for their fagile egos. She created a system that looked one way but actually set up a system in her favor. Read the book " The Myth of Male Power" written about 10 years ago. Open your eyes.

Hey Guys, check ou this individual's profile. He's Islamic. I don't know WHERE he got his first paragraph, 1Co 14:35 And if they would learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home: for it is shameful for a woman to speak in the church.
I don't read tried, condemned and sentenced. My wife is NOT in "bondage, maternity, suffering and anguish", My mother was a Baptist Missionary and once when we were kids, we VISITED one of these churches that think women should keep silent. My mom had the audacity to PRAY OUT LOUD. After the service, the pastor and elders came over to "correct" my Mom.
My mother was Valedictorian of Moody Bible Institute Class of 1942; and these guys got an EARFUL. Among other things, she called the PASTOR a "pipsqueak"
This guy is no different. He is twisting and warping scripture for his own self-serving needs. Here is example: He refers to Ephesians 5:22-24; well here is Ephesians 5:22-25:Eph 5:22 Wives, be in subjection unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, being himself the saviour of the body.
Eph 5:24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;

Yes, he is correct about the 24th verse, but left off the 25th verse. My mom would take him apart.

Ladies, Please refer to Proverbs 31, that is your Biblical description:

Pro 31:10 A virtuous woman who can find? for her price is far above rubies.
Pro 31:11 The heart of her husband trusteth in her, and he shall have no lack of gain.
Pro 31:12 She doeth him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Pro 31:13 She seeketh wool and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
Pro 31:14 She is like the merchant–ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
Pro 31:15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and their task to her maidens.
Pro 31:16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
Pro 31:17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and maketh strong her arms.
Pro 31:18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is profitable: her lamp goeth not out by night.
Pro 31:19 She layeth her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle.
Pro 31:20 She spreadeth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
Pro 31:21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household; for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
Pro 31:22 She maketh for herself carpets of tapestry; her clothing is fine linen and purple.
Pro 31:23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
Pro 31:24 She maketh linen garments and selleth them; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Pro 31:25 Strength and dignity are her clothing; and she laugheth at the time to come.
Pro 31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and the law of kindness is on her tongue.
Pro 31:27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Pro 31:28 Her children rise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her, saying:
Pro 31:29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
Pro 31:30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
Pro 31:31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her works praise her in the gates.

THIS IS MY WIFE. LADIES, I'M VERY SORRY FOR THIS GUY.
