YES FOR SOME SILLY REASON
like my firends just booked a holiday which i was unsure of going on and didnt bother to ask cos they thought i didnt want to but it would hav been nice of them to check first!

No, I'm relieved that I don't have to come up with a good excuse why I'm not going. I try to get out of such events so often that it's nice to not have to explain myself and come up with an excuse for once.

What does annoy me though is other people's reaction when they find out I'm not invited. They always act as if I should feel insulted or ashamed for not being invited. Silly people.

part of me will feel disappointed coz it means that we're not well accepted. at the same time i will feel relief coz i dont need to make any alibi of not going

Depends what I thought of the person throwing it. If I thought they were a tw*t, I wouldn't care. But if they didn't invite me, they're a tw*t, so I wouldn't care.

i would have thought that you would be glad that you weren't invited because it saves the trouble of refusing the invitation - but i suppose that you could be a bit miffed that you weren't invited in the first place

Not really but sometimes it is good to tell them that your not going if you dont like the person
