Honestly, if it were me, I'd just keep practicing until I was better. I mean you have to learn one way or the other and it's much better to learn under the watchful eye of an instructor or family member or whatever while practicing, than it is to learn the rest of what you need to know without any help whatsoever. The second of the 2 being the most dangerous. That's what happened to me, I took my driving test in the middle of nowhere and the guy passed me even though I did very badly. I had to get better on my own in the real world and let me tell you I had more close calls as far as wrecks than anyone should have. Just get better, and take it with the same guy. That way, since this guy is careful in who he passes, you'll know you are ready for the open road when you do finally pass.

It took me 3 times before I passed my road test. The first 2 times were because I was learning from "friends." After the 2nd fail, I decided to go to a professional driving school. I had one that I didn't like before I got one that I did. The last thing a nervous person needs is for someone teaching her screaming "STOP!" My instructor didn't change his conversational tone of voice when I made a mistake and just simply turn the wheel while he was talking. He also told me that he "moonlighted" as an instructor and if I paid for lessons, it would be cheaper than going through the school which I promptly accepted. He went through everything the driving instructor on the road test would, and he threw in the use of his car for the test. The rest is history.

Don't fret, not everyone get it the first time.

Sounds like your testers are doing a good job of insuring that licenses are given to people who know how to drive properly. I would guess that they told you what you did incorrectly. Practice on those points.
