God creates Adam and Eve, they are disobedient to God, God punishes them severely with hardship and death. They have children, Cain kill his brother, God tells him to leave and go far away, after a few years human population grows, God's angels look at human females with desire, they come down and take them as wifes. All Humanity turns disobedient to God except Noah. God is hurt by Humanity and regrets ever creating them. He tells Noah to build an arc. God sends the flood and everyone dies execpt Noah and his sons.

Is this a believable story?

Do you think maybe God could have done things differently to teach humans about life. Parents are usually responsible for the children. Usually the child reflects how good of parents he had. If the child is disobedient, bad mouthed spoiled brat, Isn't this the parents fault?

What do you think?

But God gave Adam a wife, and a beautiful Garden to live in, he gave him every animal for him to name and gave him all types of food, he gave him every tree. God gave him e v e r y t h i n g!

All Adam had to do was not to eat from the tree of right and wrong. The meaning of the tree was that if he didn't it he showed obidience to God, but if he ate he showed lack of obedience.

Satan knew that he could get Eve to sin easier than Adam. Then Eve convinced Adam to eat. It was a horrible thing what Adam did to God after all that God gave and did for adam.

All humanity did the same. They totally abandon God. Also, when Adam sinned he was not a child, but a grown up. Same with Cain.

You can be the best parent in the world, but once you child is grown up, he makes the calls and the decisions in life. No matter how good the parents where their son can have a bad heart in the inside.

I dont think the bible as we know it today bears much resemblence to the truth as it has been altered many times to suit the political climate of the day and to keep mankind in ignorance. If we believe God is all-knowing and everything -great thru all the ages then how can we accept that Satan is something seperate from Him.I know this sounds weird or hard to accept but I believe even satan is Him for he gave us the choice to choose good from bad if He hadnt then we would be barbie dolls who never mated and the human race would never have left the garden of eden. The book of Genesis is the most read and the most twisted or maybe the simplest explanation for creation and Gods covenent with all mankind and its mysteries are very deep and hidden from us.Even the bad stuff that is visited on us is his plan ,nothing happens without a reason He is behind it all.The bible says He never gives you more than you can bear. He must know all the range humans are capable of. He allowed his own Son to suffer terribly at our hands .He loves us and offers eternal life if we can understand what Jesus did for us.Thats the most important bit of the bible. Time stopped and started again world wide.BC AD It was a real event and the writings from that time have greater credibility which is not to say they havent be tinkered with to.Do you feel and see His greatness?then hold fast to that -enlightenment comes in strange ways to deepen your understanding .That and the new testament is not a bad read

yes it is the parent's fault - and when they child is being it's absoluet worst, some parents do feel regret for ever having kids - usually when they are at their wit's end and can think of nothing to do to make things better.

This is where I see god at. because all children grow up and run their own lives, and no matter how great, kind, loving, repesctful, etc a parent you were, if those children decide to be rebellious and even downright evil, that is not on the parent -t he parent did the best he or she could.

God had the choice and ability to do a start over. Humans don't get that choice.

Top it off with the idea that God is all seeing but had to go looking in the shrubbery to find Adam and Eve. Then the Idea that God is all knowing and he did not know that Eve would eat an apple or that men would not be virtuous.

Yes. It is the truth. Whether you like it or not does NOT matter. God is infinitely more smarter and wiser than you. Who are you to talk back against God?
