Yes I know the mosques in Banda Aceh the capital city od special Aceh province and in Meulaboh which are still survive after earthquake and the tsunami. As you knoe mosques are the sacred place for praying and called also as the house of God.It is a miracle.Maybe God protected mosques. In the flooding area there are many mosques which are used for
sheltering the victims of flood or landslide.

It is odd when you look at the pictures that almost all the buildings that were not made of reinforced concrete like the native shacks got washed away huh.
The Gambling casinos and Hotels were relatively untouched too. There are even some other buildings still standing in photos 2 and 3.
Concrete is truly a miracle product.
Let us all praise modern engineering.

I heard I it because the structure of the mosque is much better than the other wood houses and 'almost collapse' shop stories there.
Are you trying to influence non-muslim?
not this way....

Its considered a miracle of Islam that untold numbers of muslims and nonmuslims were killed by those disasters but a mosque was left standing...is that an indication that God loves a building more than human beings? very sad

Pity about the 250,000 Indonesians who got washed into the Ocean then isn't it. What good is a place of worship without worshipers?
