because there is no vertical gravity over your body at nights there is a place to expand your body to grow and when you test it at the first you wake you can see that you gained around 1 to 2 cm height... At the end of the day you can check that loss ...

Yes the spinal column compresses if you remain upright during the day, and relaxes if you sleep flat at night, so you are generally taller in the morning.

yes when u sleep ur spine relaxes and ur height increaes, while u r active standing or walking its compresses and that reduces your height but it can be only a centimeter or so. Spartan
