Could someone please tell me how to say "I am human" in latin? I have: ego sum humanus, but I need to be sure. I'm going to be getting a tattoo of it, but obviously not until I have 100% positive of the wording.

Homo sum = I am a human being.

Humanus sum = I am human

'Humanus' is for a male only. For a female, it's 'humana'.

Your words are right, but they are straight word-for-word translations in English word order. Latin rarely used pronouns since the verb (sum) tells that the subject of the sentence is 'I', so the 'ego' would not be used. Also, the verb is typically last in a phrase or sentence.

you don't even really need the ego in there, but it sounds cooler anyway. otherwise, sounds good to me.
