yes, it's a silly question. Everyone know that no instrumen can be used to measure faith. But Alhamdulillah, brothers and sisters know what i want to share, that we always need to be aware about our own faith, coz sometimes our faith getting lower but we aren't aware about it.
That's why I asked
I want to know, how can we always be aware about our faith, so we can notice immediately, when it's getting lower.
BTW,
thanks for answering

MINIMUM LEVEL: Your heart feels pain at seeing an evil. That is the weakest degree of faith."
On the authority of Abu Sa`id (radhiallahu `anhu) that the Prophet sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam said, "Whoever sees something evil should change it with his hand. If he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot do even that, then in his heart. That is the weakest degree of faith."
GOOD LEVEL: Your heart is filled with Love of Allah and His messenger more than anything else.
Hadhrat Anas (radiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Whoever has in him three things, will experience the sweetness of Imaan.”
(These are): i) His love for Allah and His Rasool is more than that for all and everything. ii) His love for another (person) is motivated by only the love of Allah. i.e. His love and friendship with people are not for worldly motives. He befriends people because they happen to be pious men of Allah). iii) A man who, after having been saved by Allah from kufr, abhors returning to kufr as much as he abhors falling into a fire.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Our faith is up and down.Only Allah the only one God who knows exactly what is our faith strong or weak,We can measure our own faith by our own instrospection. We should record all of our deeds every time what we have done in every minute such as praying at least 5 times a day, giving livelihood to our family and to the needed parents, extended family or relatives,to our neighbours at least 40 houses around us,to orphans and the like.We should love and help each other and speak politely and make good relationship
or silaturahmi with others,we should convey salam and smile to others as our ibadah too.We do not conceit and offend others. We should be honest and do not hurt others. We do not doing what is prohibited by Allah and we do everything we should do as stated in the holy Qur'an and hadith. We should pay haj pilgrimage at least once along our lives. if we have enough money and we are healthy. We live only a short time in this world so we should invest the goodness in line with islamic teaching which will be brought by us to the eternal life after death..We should act today is better than yesterday and tomorrow will be better than today..We should pay a prayer and remind Allah and ask for Allah's forgiveness.as often as we could do it.

Sister, this is something you just feel in your heart. There is no such a thing to measure faith. If you have a good connection with God, he will let you know or at least give you a sign. I know if God is content with my faith through being able to worship him more often with an easy mind. If I have any trouble in doing my duties as a Muslim, then I know that I am coming short with my faith. Bless you.

red dragon got the answer i was hoping to say, Everyone has a soft topping but the the heart is under that. and if the heart is like a cocanut then you are clearly not a muslim, because you have to love the creation before you can love the creator. Muslims, are the ones who have watermelon heart, the outerlayer is a bit hard, but very shallow and thin, but more softness under. others have the cocunut, hard and when you break it, it is hollow.
Faith is Imaan, the only way you can increase it and taste the sweetness is do good deeds dedicated to the lord's mercy.
So the more Imaan you have you will know. the instrument is yourself.

I think we all have some sort of internal instrument, I think we can measure the way we feel about praying, doing good deeds, and sharing love by the way we feel inside. Does it make you happy, does it make you sad, angry, blissful??? I think when we seem to be getting "lower", we need to think about the great things about our faith, maybe give a sandwich to a homeless person, making that faith come back within yourself...
BTW, very heart-felt question!!!
P.S.
You child is soooooo cute!!!

An instrument to measure our faith, well sure The Holy Quran is the best. If you follow and believe what the Quran says and the sunnah you should know that your faith is strong. If you follow people and know little of the Quran then you should know your faith is weak and your just using Islam as a toy.
To be aware if your faith is low, you would not be praying 5 times, you would be cursing your family, not reading the Quran, wasting your time on idol talks. It is every Muslims responsibilty to learn The Quran and apply it in everyday life.
edit; when I say "you" I am speaking in general terms. So no nasty emails today, ok!!!

We need a meter to detect god first.
Then a meter for the brain of people who have faith, then after showing how absurd belief is, only then for a final laugh we measure the faith with a 'Faith-o-meter'- so as to measure the level of deception a person has created in their head.

You're actions will always be a good indicator of your faith :-) As your faith get less your heart "hardens" as well. This isn't a nice feeling, and if left unchecked your heart may become devoid of faith. Softening the heart comes through properly practicing Islam, and truly understanding Islam. Allah (God) knows best!
