e, Muslims, believe that Hell exists, and the one who will lead you to it is the devil. We do not believe that the devil or Satan will rule hell, we believe that he will burn in hell for all his sins and that both heaven & hell are ruled by God. The devil is a Jin who disobeyed God and refused to bow to Adam (when God asked all to do so) because he was made of fire & Adam from Clay. So God condemned him to burn in hell for all eternity. He promised God to mislead his slaves (us human beings) and let them believe in him. God said that whoever is lead by the devil will also burn in hell fire for eternity when the time comes.

I know they have Jinns which are sort of like devils but you can find some good Muslim Jinns. As far as Hell is concerned yes Muslims believe there is a Hell, I think there is 7 levels. (I may have it confused with a different religion)

In the Name of Allah, Most Compassionate and Merciful

I hope this message finds you in the best of health and spirits.

Hellfire, like Paradise, will exist forever and in time and space, as people's bodies will be there. People will enter the hellfire out of God Most High's Justice. Virtually anyone is liable to enter the hellfire for sins from which one has not made repentance. Even a short time in the hellfire will seem extremely long and be more difficult than we can imagine by comparing it to even the most terrible thing on earth. It is possible that God not take people to task for their sins and may spare punishment for anyone He chooses. Eventually, every single Muslim will be removed from the hellfire and enter paradise out of God's Generosity. Ultimately, only the disbelievers will occupy the hellfire, and they will abide there forever. (Disbelievers are those who said that the prophet of their age lied.) All others are people who will abide in Paradise forever, even after some number of them may be first punished in the hellfire -- and God Mighty and Majestic knows best.

The devil has helpers that call people away from their religion. The devil is a jinn (made from fire) who refused to follow God's command and prostrate to Prophet Adam, the first human to walk the earth. He did this out of pride. God then willed him to spend the rest of time whispering to people, calling them away from religion. The religious person has four enemies -- 1. the ego, 2. Satan, 3. caprice, and 4. the fleeting, ephemeral of this world. The second one on the list is that which tells people their religion is too difficult, so they should just give up, etc. The devil's helpers could appear to one in a variety of forms -- including human form.

Evil exists as a test from God Most High. Evil, like everything else is the creation of God. God is not obliged to do anything and is under no constraints to only do what the human intellect may see as "good." This is obvious when we look around at what goes on in the world -- children starving, etc. Understand that God has no opposite and is One in his rulings and actions. There is no battle going on between God and the devil, for not a single atom moves or thought crosses one's mind except that God Knows it, Wills it, and Powers it. The devil is simply a disgruntled employee, unable to affect events independent from God Most High. If we knew anything about how things really are, as a Muslim, we would smile at every single thing that happens. God does not exist in time and is not waiting for anything to happen, but rather the entire picture is with God, as it was decreed from pre-eternity. And how peculiar is the affair of the believer, who, when something good happens to him, he thanks God and increases his rank. And when something difficult happens to him, he has patience and turns to God, increasing his rank. And this is easy for God Most High. And all praise is due to God, Lord of all the worlds.

Angels are created perfectly obediant.

Jinns are given choice and free will

Satan was a Jinn

Heaven is a place not on this earh

Hell is a place of failure which is not on this earth

Mankind are in a test and success will be given to those who voluntarily submit their will to the commandments of God.

Success is in Faith and good Deeds by the mercy of God.

Satan will try to misguide mankind (out of jealousy) by whispering disobediance into the hearts of mankind.

The struggle against evil and the struggle to do good deeds is called Jihad.
