If public displays of heterosexuality are allowed then the same rules should apply to homosexuality. Anything straights can do in public, gays can do. There should be no discrimination.

I don't mind if gays or straights hold hands in public. But I don't like to see either group in a heavy public make out session. Get a room.

it doesnt bother me because its none of my business or noone elses, it would be just like a straight couple holding eachother or touching eachother in public, except some people still have a problem with the stright person doing it, but people would be more offended if gay people did it. thats stupid

I'll squeal and go, "Awwww... how cute." Usually, I follow that up with something like, "Hm... now, who's the bottom, and who's the top?" or "Hm... they seem like they're reversible. Coooool..." lol

In case my avatar isn't a big enough hint, I love love LOVE hot gay guys and pretty lesbian girls... I am the ultimate yaoi fangirl. *grins*

But seriously... why wouldn't it be acceptable? Religion has brainwashed so many of our people into believing that it's somehow wrong to be gay, lesbian, bi, omni, etc. (I'm omnisexual, by the way), and it irks me that such a stigma follows the LGBTQ around. Obviously now, being the hard-left liberal that I am, I'm pro-gay marriage, pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ in general, so it makes me happy when I see guys holding hands because it tells me that they are secure with themselves and aren't afraid of what society thinks.

I am fine with it .. I even do it occasionally. Women holding hands seems to get less attention than men doing the same thing. Dont know why but thats the way it seems

Yeah I do that too. I can't help but have a bit of a gawk, but then just think 'ah well good luck to em' and keep walking.

Doesn't bother me.

I'm also not opposed to straight people, as long as they act gay in public :-D

Best wishes :-)

I have no problem with handholding and quick hugs.

I am uncomfortable with people kissing and groping in public regardless of sexual orientation.

i completely agree with JHMHSI. i am also a huge yaoi fan, which is Japanese for "boy's love" and yuri is "girl's love" for those of you who didn't know. and i to like to guess who is the seme (top/dominate) and who is the uke (bottom/submissive). i think it's cute to watch and am glad that they can do things like that openly knowing many people still disapprove.
