I just want to know what exactly people can dislike about Islam,
If you have a partcular question you can contact me and I'll try to answer it insha'Allah.
For all you Christians- you should really look at your personal beliefs and then check out Islam, alot of people find that they already belive what Islam teaches.
Peace

I am a muslim just like you..I think the other religion followers do not want to become muslim and muslimah because they are conceit, deaf and blind that their religion is the best. They do not want to compare their religion to Islam religion by deeply learning and then they decide which one is the better. They learnt Islam only for the sake of themselves for criticising Islam religion by intrepreting only one verse that can be misled such as Allah's instruction for killing the kafir.
In my conclusion they have no good intention and they are full of hatred to Islam religion followers by calling us terrorists etc.
They do not receive an Allah's guidance or hidayah to choose the right path for safety life here in this world and in the life after death. that is Islam religion the religion of peace.
Their religion is not pure from Allah the only one God and they make ally to Allah. They worship to so many gods.

Different people will have different views concerning God, religion, and the like. What we all should do is love one another as Jesus said. The fact is the God of the Bible and the God of the Koran are two different Gods both claiming to be the Creator. This can't be. So, what we do is conduct an honest investigation of the two. Not by what we want to hear, but the facts. Islam began around 400 A.D. by Mohammad. Christianity goes back to the beginning of Creation with evidence in the areas of History, Archeology, and Prophecy which no other book can do. This subject is not about personal beliefs, but about truth. We will all stand before God in judgment one day. Are you absolutely positive you will have eternal life? I am. Jesus took my sins upon himself because He loves both you and me.

As the son of a Christian minister I like some of the ideas in Islam. It seems to be much more mono-theistic, more rational, more logical.
On the other hand, Islam is a lot like Christianity and Judaism: primitive, intolerant, barbaric and far too ready to kill those who do not hold the same beliefs. That is really sick.
Atheists do not kill those who disagree with them, we don't send out fatwaazzz to kill those who insult Darwin or BF Skinner, we don't start wars over whose relative should be big big mullet.
Though Islam might teach peace, there aren't enough Muslims that really believe that to stop those who engage in terrorism in the name of Allah.
Scientists would put a stop to barbaric behavior in the name of science, why can't Muslims who believe in Peace stop terrorists?

I am not Muslim because of a number of things
Number1: Mohammed is dead...why would I pray to someone who's body is in Mecca? Christianity's claim is that Jesus's body rose from the dead and 11 definite witnesses that have seen with their own eyes.
Number 2: This is what Koran 5:51 says:
[5.51] O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.
A religion that doesn't accept everybody...no wonder Muslims hate Christians.

too many other verses that I don't want to go into....

Because some people may already have an ideology they're perfectly happy with, or Islam (quite frankly) may not seem relevant to their lives. There's simply no one belief system that's right for everyone, and you should not criticize anyone for not following yours.

my dear friend - it is not about being a Muslim - it is the fact that I just don't believe in organized religion - period!!!!!!!

not to mention it doesn't help that there is no God (Allah)

this is why I think a lot of ppl have no need for any religion!
I have no qualms of stating this because neither Muslims nor Christina's have ever produced any evidence that it is true what they are preaching! sorry man, but that's just how the ball bounces!

I don't bow down for anything!

I am Jewish (and I have never considered being anything else), and when I wanted to learn about the attitude of Islam towards Judaism, this is what I found:

So this is what I have against Islam...

I would NEVER be a Muslim because their religion is crammed down their own throats! They harass each OTHER to be MORE Muslim than they already are!

I refuse to allow religion to run rough-shod over my life. I would NEVER pray five times a day! Never! Man, I would never have one minute's peace when I wasn't being forced to think of my stupid religion 24 hours a day!

Religion, which I am vehemently opposed to, should be a guideline, not a brainwashing technique.

i am not muslim because there is no proof of alla ,god , jesus being the son of god ,no proof of muhamed being the prophet of alla or god or anything for that matter.

so why would i want to reshape my life for something that there is no proof of ??

open your mind use logic and reason

dont blindly believe everything you read or hear or see
look for reasons to doubt before you believe
then if you cant disprove then you should consider believing in it.
