if your brother made you promise not to tell your best friend that he is crazy about her...would you keep the promise and not tell your best friend or would you tell the best friend if she asked or would you wait and let him tell her no matter how long that took

I would find away of making the two be close without saying anything, by the way you can do alot without talking. Just organize something like an outing for the three of you or a coffee time or anythinb, they do not even have to know that they are going to meet but they'll find themselves meeting

There is an old saying....blood is thicker than water.
I would think that you should try to honor this promise that you have made to your brother. If your best friend likes your brother too, tell him and let him make the decision to tell her.

It depends where your loyalty lies--with your brother or with your best friend. But above loyalty, there should be trust. Your brother trusts you not to reveal a secret. You should honor that. Your best friend does not need to know this, unless it's a threat to her life. Let your brother be the one to show his feelings to her. Don't be the person who leaks information. If you were a leak in the FBI, they would have you in prison for life.

thats really tricky...
don't say anything to her unless she asks you but if she does ask you then you could maybe just say something like "possibly" or "maybe" and then just give a little smile. She should hopefully get the picture and that way your keeping your promise without lying.

Well I wouldn't tell her he was crazy about him but I would tell her he liked her, because you wouldn't want her to say or do something that would offend an hurt him. He should find his own girlfriend anyway.. You do know if they ever date your friendship would be over anyway !
