Iran-Mexico-Joint Commission

Iran and Mexico reached an agreement to set up a joint economic commission next year.

In a meeting between Iran's new Ambassador to Mexico Mohammad Hassan Qadiri-Abyaneh with Mexican Deputy Foreign Minister Lurdes de Aranda the agreement was achieved.

Qadiri also invited Mexico to attend the Non-Aligned Movement foreign ministers meeting in Tehran on human rights and cultural diversities.

Iran's plenipotentiary and extraordinary ambassador to Mexico expounded on Tehran stances on regional issues, especially Iraq and the results of Iran-USA negotiations about Iraq security and said Islamic Republic of Iran policy is to support national sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Iraq.

Mexico deputy FM, for her part, said her country's policy is to support peace, security and independence of the countries and has always defended negotiation and dialogue as a way to solve disputes between the countries.

The Mexican senior diplomat also expressed her country's readiness to expand ties with Iran especially in cultural and economic fields.http://www2.irna.ir/en/news/view/line-22/0707225493010242.htm

Just a reminder to those U.S. Citizens unfamiliar with American history and relations with Mexico....Mexico has never, never been our friend. They tolerate us because they need us but their history of envy, hate and malfeasance has continued prior to the Texas Republic. It will continue as long as the arrogant elites of that country keep true democracy at bay and keep it’s people in abject poverty. Too bad we can’t (or won’t) effectively support a true overthrow of that country’s corrupt oligarchy. Not only do they send us their illegals but make a fortune sending drugs into the U.S. to poison our people, create immense levels of related crimes and fill our prisons with the offenders. Thank you Mexico, you’re a wonderful neighbor.

First of all, the US and Mexico get along quite well. Look at NAFTA, OAS, and all the other agreements. We depend on their labor just as much as they depend on our money.

Second of all, Iran and Mexico are independent countries and have the right to negotiate whatever agreement they want. It's really none of our business.

Third of all, I don't think it is going to affect terrorism at all. Terrorists could easily apply for a visa and get in legitimately if they wanted to.

NOTE TO ICE, INS, & BORDER PATROL:

* upgrade weapons for border patrol agents. (to include hand grenades)

* build border wall 14 feet higher, 40 feet thicker.

* redirect funding for taking care of freeloaders to suring up the border.

* take no prisoners, shoot on site, ask no questions.

* have a nice day!

NotTalking2u has a great point. They will need to form a tunnel division I suppose. We can use any left over napalm ordinants from previous wars to pour down the tunnels 2x a day and light on fire. All in favor...

Seriously, as generous and supportive as the U.S. has been toward Mexico (I.E. NAFTA, debt forgiveness, etc), you would think they would recipricate by at least acting as though they're a good neighbor.

We need to put up a serious wall with Mexico. We need to put our political foot down & let them know that unless they want our support to end, they need to play ball with our rules. Everything has a price.

one sure fire way of getting those bastards over here is to elect a democrat to office. If they want the thrill of using our legal system against us then make sure you send them here via the southwest texas border and have them meet that P.O.S johnny sutton so they can convict a couple of border agents to send to jail. Fine job by the grand folks from texas.

Is there a legit question in there that I missed.

Everyone, including myself, takes issue with our government and it's policies.

DO something about it. Find out who the candidates are and make your vote count.
