I was the dorm leader at a Christian kid's camp over the summer. I had five girls in my dorm ages 8, 10, 11, 11, and 12. We were together for five days.

I'm writing a generic letter and then I'm going to personalize a bit of it for each girl. I got pictures developed and I'm going to send those as well as a CD with the same pictures plus a video on it. I've also included a picture of myself from a team I was on at school.

Do you have any other ideas that won't be too costly? I want this to be a fun and encouraging package that they receive in the mail. I don't want to spend too much money though. I also don't want to get too many things or things that will be too heavy because that will cause the shipping price to increase a bunch.

Thanks so much!

This is a great idea! I would be excited to be getting a letter, pictures, a cd, and a video. I don't think you really need to include anything else. If you do want to though, maybe something like candy, stickers, pencils, or notepads would be a cute idea! Hope this helps! (=

Something for "back to school" might be nice. You could make (and laminate) bookmarks with a photo of all of you together, which would be a nice reminder of fun times at camp they could carry around at school. You can also buy clear key fobs for about $1 at Michaels or another craft store and put a little pic in there.

Lip gloss

Works everytime for girls that age.

I think that's enough. If you send more it would seem a little odd to me as a parent.
Very thoughtful.
