I broke mine and I don't want to spend a lot of money for this muffler! .... sorry, I mean coffee maker... I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, just the ability to make about 10-12 cups. I have a french press plunger and an old stovetop espresso for making one cup and I find they make better coffee... I always use fresh ground beans too.... but I need a cheap-o automatic drip machine that I can trust for serving 3 or 4 rabid coffeeheads at one time. Thanks for your input.

I would guess that you can get a black and decker walmart sells them and they are not that expensive

Just go to the Walgreen's or CVS and get a Chefmate or Proctor Silex for under $20 sometimes under $15 and they are really sturdy went through 2 in 5 years as a student and there were 12 of us! Good Luck!

Proctor Silex. You can get a plain Jane one for $20 at WalMart.
