Anger Issues! Any medications?

Question

I have a friend who is short fused over alot of silly little things, is there any medication that really works. They have been on something before but not sure what it is. Any suggestions as far as medication. They have already tried therapy and anger managment. And there is no certain thing that trigures the anger.

Anger is an emotion that uses sympathetic nervous system. Propranalol 20mg bd should work.
Ever since I started using betablockers I never got angry.
