yes, they can't eat the bone cause it splinters and is sharp enought to pierce their organs. the meat is fine, it does no damage.

Bones are only dangerous when fed cooked. My dog eats chicken and turkey once a week each. When he eats said meat he eats it raw, bones, skin and muscle all included. He chews and has never had the slightest problem.
If a dog eats only muscle meats he will get sick. Dogs need the fat, cartilage, bone, organs and muscle. Admittedly my dog is 110lb+ but smaller pieces can be fed to smaller dogs. Try to remember that you want them to chew the bone so nothing small enough to swallow.
Right now I am investigating getting dead chicks to feed. I already feed whole fish, game meats like rabbit and he eats the bones from them too. You know what, my dog gets x-rays of his hips, knees, elbows and shoulders yearly and his x-rays are bloody perfect. His heart, lungs etc all are perfect, his blood tests perfect, his physical also perfect.
Everyday I struggle to walk with him holding me up. Don't you think that if he was going to drop dead of eating bones he might have done that by now. Do you think I would feed my lifeline something that would hurt him? Dogs have been eating raw bones for as long as they have been in existence. The problem is cooked bones.

Yes, of course! Aside from dogs who are allergic to chicken, chicken meat is great for dogs - both the muscle meat and chicken offal (gizzards, hearts, etc.).
The reason bones are dangerous is because when cooked they become very brittle and can splinter and cause blockages or perforate the intestines. Some people say that raw chicken bones are good for dogs, however, and use them as part of the BARF diet. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with feeding them, regardless of whether or not they are cooked. To each their own, though.

I have fed raw chicken bones for last 17 years and have had no problems and I feed chicken mince (minced down chicken bones). I have cavalier king charles spaniel show dogs and they eat chicken frames no problem. Whoever told you dogs can not eat chicken bones may not be right. I do not give cooked chicken bones as they splinter.

Dogs can eat raw chicken bones, I feed my dogs raw chicken as a part of a vet approved diet. And yes, they can eat raw or cooked chicken meat, just not cooked bones.

You can give your dog chicken meat. Thats what we feed our dog, chicken and rice. You can also feed your dog chicken bones as long as they are raw. Cooked chicken bones splinter but, raw do not. Good luck to you!!

yes they can eat the meat, the bones are very brittle and they can splinter and harm their internal organs as they swallow them. that is why they shouldn't be fed the bones.

perfectly fine. the reason why bones aren't recommended is that they're brittle and the sharp/jagged shards could lodge inside the throat of dogs.
