You can carry a cellphone with you on the flight but you need to switch it off during the Flight.

It's very annoying. Passengers should not be forced to listen to someone on their cellphone. If the passenger did not have brains enough to complete the call before boarding the plane, they should NOT be allowed to use it. It should be taken from the passenber.

Though Cellphones are allowed on the plane, before takeoff they ask for everyone to turn them off. Your not allowed to used them on the flight at all. However when you reach the ground again, they tell you when you can turn them back on again.

depends on if they tell you not to use them. They usually tell you when to turn off electronic equipment and if you continue to use it they can take you off the plane if you don't stop.
