I guess it depends on what kind of girl she is. In general - I would go for "I now pronounce you chuck and larry." It's funny, so regardless of how bad your date could possibly go - you'll both at least be able to laugh during the movie. Not that I think your date will go bad. I'm sure you'll both have a great time. Good luck!

I would stick to something fun and light, that doesn't involve getting married.. unless you're both geeks, then go see Transformers ;)
Chuck & Larry or Harry Potter should be good... Even License to Wed is a good one to take a date on. Robin Williams is great ;)

There is no good first date movie to see. A first date to a movie is a great way to ensure that there will never be a second date. Movies don't allow you to interact with the person you are taking out and they are completely unoriginal.
Try to think of an idea that will allow you to talk more with your date and that will be something more memorable. Try a trip to a festival, a hike, a canoe trip, a visit to your modern art museum, climbing a climbing wall......anything to be original and memorable.

See 1408...I saw that one on a first date. It was pretty good and it gives you an excuse to get closer to the person if you are scared lol

transformers is a really good movie but I would ask her if theres anything in particular she wants to watch and if not Id watch 1408 cuz I heard its scary and goin to watch scary movies on a date is pretty fun lol she will have someone to hold on to when shes scared

dude this one is a no brainer! 1408! theres nothink like seeing a Scary movie with your GF, because you can hug her when she gets scared ... trust me!
