I have gone through chemo, surgery, radiation and am now taking tomofixin for the next 5 years. Has anyone expereienced a considerable amount of weight gain. Im not a very heavy eater. But chemo put me in to menoupause after first treatment.

Grrrr Yes!

I was told to expect weight loss during chemo and gained weight!

And tamoxifen affects the hormones so can cause weight gain too!

Also, still fighting off the lethargy caused by the chemo, and tamoxifen makes it worse, so less energetic, so doing less, so MORE weight gain!

Totally unfair, but the alternative is pretty grim!

i gained about 15 pounds during bc treatments. they told me to expect to lose weight. who knows!!!!

Yes I think that this is hormone related and just need to be patient and watch bp on this.
