I'm a college student without a car and I want to eat healthy but besides tuna, salads, and fresh fruit what can i do for meals? I need more than a couple options since I don't have more than a microwave and I've heard even the healthy frozen dinners are not too good for you. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

There are a lot of great foods you can eat that don't require cooking or any preparation here are some suggestions.

1) Buy some whole grain bread or bagels and some natural peanut butter with a glass of lowfat milk for breakfast.

2) Yogurt is a great healthy snack that provides you with additional protein.

3) Protein/meal-replacement shakes, they usually offer you lots of the protein, vitamins, minerals you need without the unhealthy fat.

I give you props for trying to maintain a healthy diet! Been trying to myself and it's not easy. Anyway I would say if you can prepare something the night before and go for smaller portions for lunch. Dinner should be your biggest meal honestly. You could pack leftovers from any of your dinners. Or just pack an apple banana orange as well as some sort of veggie. You could do egg salad which has good protein just don't over do it with the extras you add in it. Or tuna salad. And if you can't absolutely pack anything just stay away from the breads at school. Everything else just eat in controlled proportions. Hope this helps...

granola and trail mix are both good for on the go and class. Instead of tuna, try making turkey or veggie wraps (use tortillas, and add cheese, peppers, mayo, whatever you like). Healthy cereals are always good, and you are on the right track with fresh fruits and vegetables. Consider buying an inexpensive smoothie maker, those can be nutrient packed. Non buttered popcorn is healthy too

You don't even have an oven or stove? If you do, you can make stir fry easily and it can last the whole week.
