Before she left she initiated the last 3 text convos and said in 2 of them that we should keep in touch and we're going to have to talk thru email, its been 8 days and we havent talked, i know she started school...id be lieing if i told u i wasnt thinking about her, but the problem is, she only wants to be friends and i like her more than that. what do i do? wait for her to email me 1st now? she is studying abroad by the way. not sure if she is even thinkin bout me the slightest, lol. thanks.

Randy G has brought out a valid point. Problem, you have communicated to this girl the wrong signals. Due to this fact, you have been placed in the infamous friend category. Its extremely hard to get out of . . . if you continue whatever you have been doing. What is that? Their are proper signals to portray for someone dating for fun and one with more serious goals in mind. Depending on the signals you are portraying will determine your fate. Priority One - You need to change those signals if anything is to change between you and her. Priority Two - This is not going to be a quick fix. Based on my experience and acquired knowledge it may take time to revert from this status. Please email me or setup a chat session and I will tell you what you may have been doing and how to turn things around with time tested procedure.

Don't call her, give her time to miss you! Make her wonder what you are doing. If you stop texting and calling, she'll wonder why and call you. after all every woman wants to believe they're the most important person in someone else's life, even if she says she only wants to be friends. Unless, of course she's found someone that she's interested in as in a boyfriend. stop calling her the ball is in her court

Oh man, you are in the dreaded "friend zone". Get on with your life and let her be the first to initiate contact. Better still, find another girl to date and forget about her.
