First, it is important to make eye contact, say "Hello, how are you doing today?" Of course you should always have a genuine smile. Then introduce yourself to them and get their names. Make sure you remember those names and use them through out your dealings. Once they have responded you should make conversation to get an idea of what they are looking for or what they are wanting to do. Listen to everything that they say. Since you should be very familiar with the products that you are selling, from there the sales pitch is just matching the needs that they talked about, with what products you are offering.

Walk up. Smile. Introduce yourself. Ask the customer how he/she would like to be addressed. Ask "May I help you find somehing?" Be nice and courteous at all times.

Close.
Drive away.
Easy?
