Is it safe to drink while I have mono? And secondly, I know I shouldn't kiss my boyfriend, but can i still have sex with him? He's visiting from out of town on Friday and I won't see him again for another month... I just, wanted to know. I don't want to rupture my spleen in the moment or anything...hah.

You should not drink while you have mono. Many people who have mono have an enlarged liver and you want your liver to work on recovering, not processing alcohol.
As to sex with the boyfriend; I don't know. Safe for you but I'm sure you're putting him at risk for getting mono. Is it worth it?

it probly is safe but im not 100% sure. 90% though. and yea you can drink when u have mono.

No, I wouldn't drink if you have mono...
You cannot transmit mono sexually.
