I have a MS word 2007 file which is about 2 Mg,when I convert it to adobe?

pdf, it becomes about 12 Mg, and I have problebm sending it by email.
how can I reduce the size of word or pdf?
I want the size of pdf to be about 2 Mg in order to send it via e-mail
(my internet is dial up 52K)

U say nothing of how big the word file is to start with.
If the PDF comes out much bigger than the original file, look at the "preferences" in your PDF creator package, and reduce it from "print quality" to "screen quality" to reduce file size considerably.

Remember images / fancy text all increase file sizes
