For a few days now, I've had stinging sensations all over my body.. almost like being pinched... and kind of like an itch. Occasionally my hand or foot will tingle. My eyes feel a little weird, like I'm having a hard time focusing, when I turn my eyes. Does this sound like early symptoms of MS? I have some very bad anxiety problems, due to some very difficult things going on in my life at the moment. I am 22, female, and very active. Does this sound like a serious matter or just anxiety?

More anxiety related than MS. If you want to be sure, you need to go through some extensive neurological exam which looks for demyelination of the nerves. Better take care of your anxiety first through yoga, Reiki, deep breathing, EFT etc. and then see the difference and if needed, further tests will be in order then.

Also get your thyroid profile checked.

I'm not sure but your symptoms sound familiar to those of mine for the past nine months or so. I have been to many doctors and been told everything from I may need chemothearpy to I am psychtoic. I have come to believe I may have mixed connective tissue disease, as told by three of the doctors, but I'm not sure. I don't think there are tests to prove 100 % at first. Most doctors do feel threatened by you bringing up the internet or what you may know, that is what I have learned. I have begun to "dumb" myself down befor seeing them. I always play dumb now, watching out for their egos at all times because I have found it necessary in my getting proper medical care. Isn't that a great realization for the medical profession? I'm sorry it's just true. Of course, I have respect for the work and dedication that is needed to persue these careers but as a soical worker I must say that the pay should help a little and there definitely is no excuse to give for not delivering care. I am a 52 yeal old female, who was given a wrist plate and two screws after breaking her arm in a fall. Appears I am allergic to the implant which is very rare, and this sinergized with some lead poisoning which was "floating" around in me from old amalgam fillings which were released due to my bad brusxism or grinding of the teeth. This also resulted in a very bad case of hemolytic anemia which lead to a bone marrow asipiration, which was not at all fun. So now I'm going to battle with all this with some new form of medication that can cause cancer but has great results. By the way, I have suffered with anxiety, or as you call it just anxiety, and depression for many years and had only very recently been awarded soical security disability for it, thank God. They say everything happens for a reason, so I'm ready to get in there and fight. Good luck to you and I wish you the best in beating your illness and I hope I gave you some insight into getting some care.

Your symptoms don't sound like MS. For one thing, when MS strikes, you don't have occasional tingling. It stays for days or longer at a time. And you don't have the feeling of being pinched and itchy. You would get tingling sensations instead. If I were you, I would see your doctor for an evaluation.

Ithink you need to be tested for Lymes disease, because those are the symptoms and they mimic MS. Find yourself a good infectious disease doctor and get tested
