Stanford Law School's Immigrants Rights Clinic Argues U.S. Immigration Policy Violates International Human Rights Standards
The widespread impact on American families has been truly devastating, said Alison Parker, a senior researcher with Human Rights Watch.
The actual law does not give the judges any room for interpretation either the kid is dying or not its the only premise, children that have lived their lives suffer because a flawed immigration law that does not set the rules right from the beggining enforcement is a must, if the law is well written if the US will not grant citicenship to children bron of illeal aliens in the future thats another story and would be fair but what to do with the 3.5 million of american citizens that depend on their parents and families? illegal aliens broke a civil law not criminal law so there is no comparison to children that have parents in jail please avoid that answer...is lame. if canada accepts them how will the US look.

Consider certain points to avoid racist coments not all immigrants are mexicans they come from Camerun, Namibia, China, Singapur, and of course mexico and latin America for the most part but this is not the problem I address in this post, many come legally and overstay their visas (nearly 30% of current illegals). Many Human Rights advocates are dealing with the fact that deportations break up families that are well stablished hard working people paying taxes. If Canada accepts such children they will be American refugees same as people fleeing from dangerous countries if you are going to answer think well.
parents should be punished but how about the children ? its not an easy question....

HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION?

WHAT ABOUT NATIONAL SECURITY/LAW VIOLATIONS? Why do these illegals feel they have the right to break national security?

No offense, but we're not responsible or obligated to take care of these illegals in the first place. They should have taken each precaution and came here legally so they wouldn't have to risk being deported. As far as I'm concerned, they don't have ONE SINGLE RIGHT in this country except to leave.

What about millions of American children who have to say goodbye to their parent because they committed a crime?

Get off your high horse - illegals are illegal. Go ahead, try and seek "human rights" in Canada,- you think they support you? You think they'll willingly support you and the family you have no chance of affording in the first place?

How does that make your illegal alien friends look - The US is cracking down on its policies, so they run to the next country. After Canada, where are you going to seek your false entitlement of a sanctuary/refuge?

lol, Canada won't want them either.

Human rights violations? What human rights violations? If people break the law they don't get a free pass just because they have children.

"illegal aliens broke a civil law not criminal law "

It doesn't matter it is still a LAW. And breaking the law has consequences. The penalties are spelled out, deportation or jail was always a possibility and they knew it from the beginning. If anyone is to blame for anything the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the parents, no one else.

The folks at Stanford should try telling it to Chief Justice Roberts. I hope they include the part about where he has no choice. To answer your question, yes, they should go to Canada and apply for asylum. I'll pay for a charter bus load myself to get the ball rolling.

This is the problem with too many lawyers. Common sense goes out the window.

Possibly - the jury's not back on this one. My concern in this case wouldn't be how the U.S. would look - it already doesn't look like a country governed presently by law.

My question would be to try and outline just what rights an ILLEGAL immigrant is entitled to in the country that he ILLEGALLY enters.

I think Quebec provincee in Canada is especially more open to Mexicans due to the fact that Quebec is French and latin country.

If you want to try your luck in Canada, move to Quebec province. They want to attrack more latin people because their language is closer to french so they can assimilate well.
By the way, they hate the English language and they hate American. They are the most anti american province in all Canada.

If Canada accepts them, we should load them up. Free tickets all the tacos you can eat on the way.
