I need to write a resume for a job at the income support division or the welfare office. I have only worked as a Certified Nurses aide and private duty. I will grduate in May 2008 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Education. Can someone please help me with writing an awesome resume or give me examples that pertain to this field. Thanks

Write a functional resume. When you don't have much experience in the field, focus on what skills you have that can be used in the prospective work place, for example, as a certified nurse, you handled "heavy paperwork" and that can be used in your resume. Think of every interchangeable skill you have and write it down.

Read the book "What Color is Your Parachute" to learn how to do this. It's a best-seller and it's probably in your local library.
