I have noticed an increasing number of questions about Mustang sucking and the like. I am just wondering if people like to stir the sh*t pot and get people fired up, and if they actually believe half the crap that spills out of their mouth about other car makes. I dont see Mustang owners talking bad about other people and their choice of cars, but boy some people just have a vendetta I guess. Whats you thoughts?

They are just mad at themselves for buying something else, when they could have bought a Stang. Since they can't own one, they can only dog them. That way they feel close to the Stangs, since they missed their chance.
Wish I could afford a new Shelby, but retirement puts a strain on the income. Go for it while you can.

They just like to stir up stuff. The mustang has outlived all of the other pony cars for a reason. If it was such a turd, then it would have been discontinued years ago. The F body GM's (Camaro/Firebird) came 3 years later and were discontinued after 2003 becuase they couldn't sell them 35,000 total in 2003.
Ford must be doing something right.
And the last Cuda/Challenger E body cars were built in 74.

while the mustang was not the first car in its class, the plymouth barracuda beat it to market by just over a month as i recall, the mustang was wildly successful, and in fact defined the pony car class. since 1965, no other pony car has sold as many units as the mustang, and the camaro outsold the mustang only 8 times over the last 30 years. even the mustang ll sold more that the same year camaros. since the mustang has defined the pony car class, it became the standard by which all other pony cars were judged. this being the case, the top car in any class is going to have as many detractors as supporters. another example is the ford explorer. it to is the best selling vehicle in its class, and is the standard by which all other suv's in its class are judged. the explorer also has many people ragging on it.

What they don't have they will "dog". Mustang owners DO take shots at other cars too. Most of the people who have something to say don't have very much to back it up. One person saying something bad about a nice car usually gets into his or her piece of crap car and goes home.

Same goes for the people who always talk **** about American companies. They are ignorant, selfish, have no pride in their country, and like giving their money to Japan who doesn't pay their workers health care, social security, and not as much as a salary we pay our workers here. They are too lazy to research American car companies to actually find out that some are becoming better than a few Japanese companies and a lot are leading the world for a greener and helping out the environment and people's wallets.

I've never owned a Mustang or rode in one until.......
the other day I rented one with Enterprise. I was sorely disappointed. I've seen em, heard all about em, and listened to owners rave over them. Forgive me, but the black 2007 brand new Mustang I rented was no big deal at all. Sorry. I wouldn't buy one for sure.

when people bag on stangs its almost always jelous people stating non facts without any reference what so ever. Its the best they can do to try to put the mustang down becuase Fords competitors havent been able to do it for almost 50 years.
