My father has just been naturalized canadian citizen i live in the us and i never lived in canada i am over 18 can i still get canadian citizenship through my dad?

As an American with working knowledge of this, http://cic.gc.ca is a good start. Your dad can sponsor you but that's. You'll have to go through immigration process yourself.
You don't need a lawyer the paperwork is pretty easy.

I seriously doubt that, but you need to go to the website of the embassy of Canada to your HOME country and read the requirements to immigrate to Canada and apply for citizenship. You say you live in the U.S., but do not say you are an American citizen so I presume you are not.
Look up the website of the Canadian embassy to your home country and read the info on immigration. See website below also.

If he has a steady job or a guaranteed income he can sponsor you.

If you are single he can claim you as a dependant if you are under 22.
