me and boy chihuahua will just be sitting there ill pet him and then he will suddenly jumo off the bed go under it and start growling at me! its happened about 4 times....whats wrong???!?

If you just got him he may just be shy, it'll take time until he gets to know you better. Approach him more easily and slowly next time, let him come to you. If he bites though and becomes too agressive you may want to try getting rid of him. He might also be scared of something, so don't make sudden movements or screaming or loud noises, be calm around him. Good luck.

Hey there. Could you describe a little more about what's happening around the dog and what he's doing when this happens? I have some thoughts but I'd like to hear more from you first - time of day, is he asleep or tired, etc.

Maybe not growling at you. Perhaps reacting to some change in the environment or some frightening sound.

He might not like where ur petting him or how.He might be heart in the spot(s) ur petting him and doesn't like u touching that(those)spot(s).Talk 2 a vet.
