Cadel Evans will win.
Contador needs more experience, he will win when he gets more experience
leipheimer will not win, he cant climb...but he will place within the top 10....
Evans will just keep taking time away from Rasmussen untill he gets yellow and he will eventually win...

No. And to roughly quote Johan Burnyll (sp) Levi might be to far back to win, but he might still get a podium place. That was his goal.
Contador is the Team's leader right now. Contador has almost a 2 minute lead on Evans. Hes 2:23 back of Rasmussen. If he can be 1 minute behind Rasmussen and 3 minutes up on Evans, Kloden etc. Contador should win the tour, as long as he has a good time trial. So Levi can not win win the tour, he would need a VERY special ride inorder to do so. However He is competing for a podium spot. Evans has been forced to do a lot of work, Sastre cant ITT, Kloden has not seemed strong and Levi has been able to sit back. I think Levi could pull a podium, maybe even second depending on how bad Rasmussen's final ITT is. So no there will be no 9th stright American title. However Discovery should win Yellow, White, Team and maybe KoM if Popovych gets into the breakaway on wed. (I think he might, Hes40 points back, A break that lasts until the final climb will gain him 54 points. Then it is up to the final climb to see how many points Rasmussen can get. Also Soler could do something similar)

The next stage will be critical for Rasmussen. If he can't hang with Contador he will probably just end up in the top three. Cadel will make up the time during the last stage on Rasmussen. If Contador keeps on riding like he is he should be able to gain a significant amount of time on the rest of the field. During the last stage he showed he could break Rasmussen and by letting Rasmussen hang around at the end was a good strategy as to keep him wear him out. (physically and mentally) . The next stage will be interesting to see how Discovery will work on trying to have a 1-2 finish in Paris.

Contador is looking too good for Discovery to risk losoing second place at this point. You effectively saw Hincapie work his butt off going down to the finish to put more time between Levi and Evans. That might seem trivial, but it's really not. Contador is now the GC leader for Discovery. I'd be very surprised if Levi did anything to knock Contador off of the podium.

As I just responded moments ago in another post:
If things keep going the way they have, I would not be suprised if Cadel Evans sneaks in with an incredible time trial on Saturday to overtake Michael and Alberto; however, Michael has put up an incredible fight and if he is still in yellow on Saturday, I hope he keeps it.
In the meantime, I can't wait for Wednesday's stage to see if Discovery finally puts all their efforts behind Contador (including Levi) and to see if Vino can pull off another stage.

Can levi win it? specific.he placed third in 2007 at an identical time as pulling contador up mountains. he may additionally time trial properly. Will it take an almost superhuma attempt to drag lower back his time deficit on the likes of evans, schleck and contador? specific. if he grew to become right into a minute forward or 30 seconds at the back of he could possibly pull it out, yet together with his 2 min down, i think of, he might could experience faraway from everybody on a mountain point a win it,. like Sastre did in 2008 on alpe d'huez. could be incredibly difficult besides. Will lance experience for Levi and not himself? specific,in biking you many times experience on your present day superb teammate, even whether that's no longer your team chief.

Logic doesn't matter. Was a Levi fan way before the bandwagon showed up, and will continue to support him. Classiest guy in the Peloton.

Levi doesn't quite have it. Alberto is a possible, although I think Rasmussen's experience will see him through.
