People always tell me my eyes are dialated. I was with my g-ma and she said my eyes would go from huge to small really quick. i dont do drugs and i dont drink. so why do my pupils get dialated and then get small so quickly?

i dont think it has to do with light because the light can be the exact same and they still change. but mostly are dialted..

Actually, it is your IRIS that changes, and it's supposed to do that. It is your built in light control to your eye. In bright light it closes down so as to only allow a certain amount of light to your retina. In dimmer light, it opens up (dialites) to let more light in, so that you can see in dim conditions.
Expensive cameras have an iris in the lens, and it looks just like the one in your eye, and it does the same thing, controls the amount of light getting to the film or sensor.
You are perfectly normal, and the change is very fast...It's supposed to be.

It could be something with your brain activity- certain things you do whether it be intresting, fun, or any other type of attention grabbing can cause your pupils to get bigger. I heard that people's pupils can grow larger from people they have crushes on. Its something to do with brain activity. Your eyes adapt to their surroundings so even if you think its not light- it could be....When you go into a dark place they grow and the opposite in a very well lit room. Give it a shot....Im sure it wasnt the best explanation but I'm sure that one of my reasons is true.

wel one idea mite b that ur eyes r extremly sensitive 2 lite, and so even if u dont notice it, ur eyes mite, also if u have other vision problems then they could b the cause (if u have other vision problems definetly go 2 a doc) i sugest actually goin 2 an eye doc 2 get it cheked out if it happens alot, if ur pupils r always big it could b that u just have biger pupils (meaning u need more lite 4 wutever reason)

Maybe you're part cat.
I wouldn't worry about it. Your pupils dilate to the level that they need light. As long as you can see fine, it shouldn't be a problem.
Have your eyes checked if you're really concerned.

that's the normal reflex for eyes without the influence of drugs or alcohol .
