Not at all. It's just a little superstition...I think its a nice way to pick a unique day without it being cheesy or something that people do all the time like April Fool's, Valetines day, Halloween, or New years. It will also be easy to remember your anniversary later down the road. :P
I have never, ever heard of divorce papers where the reason for divorce was because they got married on Friday the 13th or any other day...usually its something bigger than that.

My birthday is on a 13th and so is my fiance's, as was his father's. We LOVE Friday the 13th (the day, not the movie) and think it would be really cool to get married on a different 13th. :-)

I actually think thats a great idea. My grandma's bday is on the 13th, she was born on a friday the 13th...just a superstition, but I tend to have great luck on that day....don't let it stop you. Have a great wedding!!!

If you are really superstitious and uncomfortable, then consider changing it. If not then do not worry, it's just another day some are good and some aren't so good, but I'm sure your wedding day will be perfect!
13 has always been lucky for me! Good luck!

That's my sister-in-law's birthday AND she and my brother got married on that day and they've been happily married for over 15 years. So I don't think it's bad luck at all. Don't be so supersticious and just enjoy the day for what it is :)
