There is hundreds and hundreds of places in the Bible where it says that Jesus is God. I and My Father are one. (John 10:30). If one reads the Bible they will see that Jesus Christ is concealed in the Old testament and revealed in the New Testament and if one reads the full Bible and does not ignore any of it then you will know that Jesus Christ is God but some cults and groups ignore the full Bible and only like to interpret it their way and ignore what goes their teachings. "And Thomas answered and said to Him, 'My Lord and my God!' Jesus said to him, 'Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.'" (John 20:28-29). "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory." But that was a great episode of Good Times. If I recall correctly, I think James's son Michael hung that up, and James was taking it down, and I think James took off his belt for that one.
Saw that episode about 27 years ago - hope my memory is correct!
