Your only options are to leave him with an atheist neighbor or with a openly gay Christian neighbor... You know them equally and not that well,
With whom would you leave your child behind?

You know them both equally and there's no way you could tell which one is "the best."
They have similar personalities and are 25 year old males, living alone.

You can't take him with you or to your mother's/father's.
You MUST choose one.!

Is the Christian a protestant? Or a Catholic? LMAO Because the fact that someone's gay doesn't bother me a bit.....but if he's catholic....hmmmm.......7yr old boy.....hmmmmm

Personally, I would not leave a 7-year-old of mine behind, but if you must do so, either the atheist or the gay Christian. Ask the child to choose. At 7 he is apt to be a keen observer of the world around him.

I don't think it would matter, neither of those two things would change my thoughts about the person watching my child. I think there are other things I would have to factor in...and if I didn't know them well how would I know those things about them? Those usually aren't things that are brought into a "Howdy neighbor" conversation.

I think I would try to find a relative for him to stay with even if that relative lived far away. You could go there first and drop him off and then travel to where you need to be for the emergency

honestly there is no place i can't and won't take my children. Most people understand if you can't get a sitter last minute so i would take him with you. If you don't know your neighbors that well then do you really think its wise to leave your son with them.

Who is better with kids? Where will my son be more comfortable? Who will have the time to take care of him? Who will be WILLING to take care of him? I'd be more interested in these things than the religious affiliations and sexual orientation of the neighbors.

First off I would never leave my child with anyone I did not know well enough. So that being said I would take my child with me.

It doesn't matter to me WHAT they are, it's WHO they are as a person. I'd have to know either of them a long, long time before I left one of my kids with them. My kids go with me everywhere because I trust very few people.
