As you can see from the responses we really don't have enough detail to figure out what steps you took or where exactly along the line the process failed.
I'd start in PowerPoint with File > Send To > Mail Recipient.

I might be making this harder than it is but some companies/organizations won't let you send or receive ppt files. You will have to change the extension of the file to send it.

First of all make sure you *can* modify file extensions :
- open Windows' Start menu, select Run.... Type in "explorer" (without the quotes)
- in the 'Tools' menu, select folder options
- then click on View
- Deselect the option "hide file extensions for known file types"
From now on, to rename files, right-click the file to rename, select rename, then give the file a new name and extension, then hit enter.

i always convert my powerpoint presentations to flash and email then. Flash can retain most animations, background music and other effects in powerpoint. And flash file is easy to be sent by email.

In hotmail, just go to attachments and send it as a file, then under where you saved it, click on it, then it'll load, then write a messg and its off

2. no virus detected on your power point file
3. then attach again.
