Why not? White is no longer just for first marriages. White can symbolize new life, new love not just purity.
So if you'd like to wear white, then I say go for it and don't listen to anyone else!

Many years ago the etiquette dictated that in a second marriage the bride could not wear white because she was no longer a virgin.
In this era the bride can choose what ever color she wants to wear. A lot of brides like pale colors like: pink, beige, off white and many others. It really depends on the bride.
So it totally depends on you and you should discuss it with your bridal party. The girls may like to wear something that goes with the brides gown. This way you all can wear jewelry that goes with the gowns,
So after all that is taken care of..just enjoy the occasion and start your new life on the right foot.

Yes, but it should be a soft ivory more than the sparkling bright diamond white. Also, for second marriages, the gown should not be too frilly and full like that Cinderella look. I would go to dessy.com, moncheri.com, jessicamcclintock.com, verawang.com. Go to netbride.com, brides.com, wholesaleweddinggowns.com and also consult theknot.com. A simple style with some beading on top but with a slimmer bottom maybe in chiffon, or silk or silky satin...For a headpiece, a simple type headpiece with a small shirred up veil. White roses with green ivy wrapped in satin ribbon. You will look modern, and classy.

Yes, it is fine. Modern weddings don't hold white dresses to the same symbolism that it has in the past. Besides, it is your first wedding to this person right? It has the right to be as celebrated as a first wedding. Best wishes!
