no
Tylenol is terrible on the liver. Use a small amount of baby aspirin. If this is a super small dog then use less than half of a baby aspirin.

I think you misunderstand how dog sizes work. Toy breeds are supposed to be the smallest dog breeds. Some medium to large breeds have legitimate miniature versions---but that doesn't mean they are really tiny. It just means that they are a smaller version. Such as the miniature bull terrier, schanuzer and pinscher. TOY breeds---because they are so small to begin with---do not come in "miniature" versions. But some toy breeds are awfully small. Yorkies top out at 7 pounds....are you looking for a two pound dog??? There is a reason most dogs don't come in a size that makes it easy to carry them around--it isn't healthy or safe for them. Cavs and other toys were bred to be small enough to be lap dogs, but still be sturdy and healthy. You might be able to find a healthy toy dog that is small for its breed, but if you see anyone trying to sell a "mini" cav---or teacup or some other marketing term----run the other way. There is no such thing. Maybe you need a hamster. :) They are small enough to carry around.

NO ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!! Tylenol is toxic to dogs...Also they can NOT have Advil, Aleve or any other products of this type.

While asprin is considered safe for most dogs it is not for every dog and should NEVER be given without authorization from your dogs vet..If your vet feels it is ok for your dog he will tell you what dose and how many times per day it is appropriate and for how long.

The people who said that Tylenol was safe for dogs are giving you some very, very dangerous advice...PLEASE for the safety of your dog do NOT take their advice!!!!
NEVER SELF-MEDICATE YOUR DOG!!!!!! ALWAYS consult your vet first!!!!!

No, tylenol is not safe for dogs. Neither is aspirin or any other human head-ache type of medicine.

You should take your dog to a vet now. These are really serious symptoms for a dog. Take him to the emergency room right away.

This message board is so dangerous when it comes to asking things like this, so many ignorant answers. tylenol is NOT safe for any small animal, baby aspirin is in some cases but animals are sensitive to it. I AM A VET. beleve it. Tylenol is NOT aspirin people should read a book instead of answering questions they dont know the answers to.

NEVER give a dog (or cat I presume) Tylenol or NSAIDS. Dogs' kidneys cannot process this medicine. (I heard this part from Poison Control.)

Tylenol is made for humans...... Funny you never see ads on tv stating "Safe for dogs also!" Theres a reason for that! Maybe time to visit the vet! There educated in animal medicine, not tylenol....
