if religious people think the bible was inspired by god just because it says so in the bible, shouldnt darwin have started his evolution theory by saying: "god told me that..."?
like this it would be in the book and since that is evidence enough for christians then everyone will be happy and we would have spared the creationist museum

Some people, despite not being Christians. still have the morals to know that lying is wrong.

Darwin was an atheist.
His studies and his theories confirm this.

There are those who for a time may believe just from a person's verbal avowals, but the older and wiser Christian looks not to a person's words or circumstances but what they DO.

A person's deeds and actions speak louder and truer than mere words ever can.

No true Christian who has studied the Holy Bible would ever believe that Darwin's preposterous theories were God inspired.

But if someone swears that they descended from primordial ooze, knuckle-dragging Neanderthals, a big bang, or apes then who am I to argue with them? I figure they must know their relatives far better than I ever could.

But none of my relatives were descendants of apes, ooze, or knuckle-draggers, or a big bang.

You are making one incorrect assumption here (at least for me anyway) I don't believe that the Bible was inspired by God just because it says so. I have my own experiences by which I base my beliefs. So many Atheists think that people of faith just threw up our hands and said "Ok sounds good I believe" I have studied both sides of the question and this is where my journey has taken me.

Things in the Bible have been proven true. So I believe it when it says it is inspired of God.

If Darwin said his books were inspired by God it would have been lying. He knew that.
