Guys do you get intimated by pretty girls?

Do you think they're already taken or something so you dont go for them? Or are u just scared cos they're gorgeous? What are you thoughts

you know, I have a gorgeous friend and she says that she has alot of time on her hands because she does not get asked out very often because guys probably figure that she's taken or will say no - I am a decent looking guy, not Brad Pitt by any means BUT I dated a ton of pretty women before I got married because I had the nerve to go up to them, introduce myself, get them to laugh and get their number - I always figured the worst thing that could happen is that she would say NO - so what? If you don't ask, you don't get -

I never get intimidated but I do get excited by pretty women and wish that they're not "taken or stuck up". I loooovvve me some pretty women. I'm a portrait artist. Unfortunately most of them know that they're pretty and have such a stuck up attitude that it's not worth giving them the time of day. I do give them the opportunity to bury themselves first, though.

The prettiest women are the ones who don't even know they're pretty. They don't wear or need make up and they have the most pleasant personalities. I know at least 3 women like this. They are very rare.

I found them intimidating until I started getting more assertive and more confident. After that I really didn't have a problem with pretty girls. But I do have friends that are deathly afraid of pretty girls that they've liked for months but always get flustered whenever they talk to them. With some guys the girls just have to be more assertive, that's all.

This is always true and vice versa although you don't always notice your nervous. When you see someone pretty you'll always start sizing yourself up. For instance I'm better looking than that guys she's talking to. She's pretty but I've seen better so I'm sure I've got a chance with her. Were also quick to point out the smallest flaws about her to ourselves. Its not to be mean, its really to build our own confidence. I mean if my mentality was "Holy crap shes flawless" I'd lose all confidence and wouldn't have a rats chance in hell.

Most guys will even begin to ask for advice and such.

yes. but i find it is funny. i will get rejected a lot. then suddenly a girl likes me and she is prettier than some of the others. that always gets me. i think love is very mysterious. but yes i am scared because they are gorgeous and intimidated. i always wait for them to cue me. saturday night it was a girl i knew but barely, the next thing i knew she was shouting at me with her friends to come over so some guys go after girls. i usually just wait until they act interested in me

Vogue pretty ladies certainly don't intimidate this fella. Lots of them are very sociable and friendly but others are quite stuck up and think that their poop don't stink. But the sad fact of life is that someday all their beauty will fade as it does on us all. But the beauty that they possess inside will remain with them throughout, so if they are as attractive inside their shell as outside that is a great combination.

I'm not an attractive guy, so women who are considered attractive are out of my league. I do find attractive women annoying--they use their good looks in all sorts of subtle/unsubtle ways to get what they want. I'm not even sure it's conscious--it may be that they're just used to having the world fall at their feet.

Kind of both....I don't go for gorgeous girls because since they are pretty...lots of guys like them, which would mean that I'd have to be her ***** or that she might like someone else other than me, and yes I do tend to think that beautiful girls are taken....

Most guys think along these lines:

Pretty girls are high maintenance, and generally out of touch with reality. They sure are nice to look at, and I'd be damned lucky if I were to get with one, but it's not worth the effort.

Sometimes. Are you asking because you're a beautiful girl who can't get dates? Well sometimes the most beautiful women in a room won't have boyfriends because most guys are to chicken to ask them out.
