Some argue that neither the Bible nor apostolic tradition condemns the practice of homosexuality. Passages such as Leviticus 18:22–30, Romans 1:26–27, 1 Corinthians 6:9, and Jude 7 serve as ample proof that Scripture indeed condemns homosexuality. Below is ample proof from tradition. The Fathers are especially harsh against the practice of pederasty, the homosexual corruption of boys by men.


The Didache



"You shall not commit murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not commit pederasty, you shall not commit fornication, you shall not steal, you shall not practice magic, you shall not practice witchcraft, you shall not murder a child by abortion nor kill one that has been born" (Didache 2:2 [A.D. 70]).



The act of homosexuality is the sin , not the homosexual.

If you read the Catechism of the Catholic Church you will see that the Catholic Church regards Homosexuals with love. But the Church realizes that Homosexuality is a disorder. Therefore, like all Christians, sex is a mortal sin outside of marriage. But two men or two women cannot marry each other. The Sacrament of Marriage was only for Man and Woman. Homosexual acts are considered Mortaly sinful and disordered.
But there is always forgiveness waiting in confession. Try one's best to live a Catholic life.

All sexual acts outside of marriage are against the eternal moral law of God.

Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all men have the same nature and the same origin. Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity.

The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.

The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."

The Homosexual is loved and welcomed in the Church.....it's the act that is sinful.

So as long as there is no "action" everything is fine.

Jude 1:7 "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire."

Heb 13:4 "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

Furthermore Jesus said concerning marriage "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" of which he took as a precedent for marriage
