luvs work the best for my kids(all 4 of them)

in my experience kids stay in size 3 the longest.

no more size 1s, perhaps just get a couple 2s.

one of my twins will be 3 in october and is still in size 3. her twin is in size 6(they are shaped very differently). it just depends on the kid!!!!

HI,
I used luvs for daytime and pampers for night.
Say away from the cheap ones.
They are not worth the money.
I also was not a fan of Huggies.

Also Proctor and Gamble make both Pampers and Luvs.
Luvs and Pampers Baby-Dry are virtually the same diaper, but Luves costs about three dollars cheaper than Pampers Baby-Dry.

I wouldn't have more then 1-2 packages of size 1.
I would buy more size 3.
I found I went through about 4 - 7 diapers a day.

We've got about 2 dozen BumGenius diapers - they fit from about 10 lbs up to 35 lbs or more, so you don't need to buy them constantly.

They work GREAT.

I haven't bought disposables since my oldest child (now almost 5 yrs old) was about 3 months old. At that time, the ONLY brand we could find that didn't give him a horrible chemical burn was "Truly" (A Canadian brand, at Zellers). Every other diaper brand we tried gave him a red, blistering, hot burn everywhere it touched him.

We eventually figured out that he was either allergic to the bleach residue in the diapers, or to the gel used to make them overly absorbent.

So - now with 3 kids - it's all cloth. Better for the kids, better for the pocketbook, and better for the environment.

I love LUVS they are great!!! First of all this all depends on the size of your baby and how fast they grow. My daughter was 6 lbs 10 ozs and was only in size one for a short time. Size 2 is what she is in now and with my experience with my other children who were 8 lbs 6 oz and 8 lbs 8 ozs I found that they were in size 2 for a while and in size 3 for a long time. Like a few of the other people have said...Do not waste your money on the cheap diapers as you use twice as many and they leak. Congratulations on your little one :)

I would not buy anymore 1's stat buying 2's now. They grow very quick. My son is 15 months and he is in size 4's right now and has been for a pretty long time now. We use Pampers, I tired Huggies but for some reason he always kept peeing out of the side of them.

Honestly, I would buy them each when you need them.

We tried to stock up, but two things get in the way:

1) Kids grow. FAST.
2) Where are you going to put it? Even if you have the space, use it to store outgrown infant stuff.
3) You never know which brand to get until you actually use them. Instead of buying in bulk when you have the money, buy one or two at a time AS YOU NEED THEM.

I wouldn't get any more size ones. Get some size 2's now. I would stock up on size 3 diapers, babies are in them for the longest usually.

i don't think you need that many size 1's. but, i guess it just depends on how much your baby weighs when he/she is born. i agree with everyone else, you'll probably go through a lot more size 3's than anything since most babies kind of slow down on growth. you should probably just buy as you go, or just make sure you save your receipts so you can always return them if your baby outgrows them.

I actually bought the kushies washable diapers. They are cloth with velcro on them to fasten. They look just like disposables and are just as easy to put on. They pay for themselves 10 times over. If you can afford them one time I highly recommend them.
