Basically the same thing that keeps you going. You know what they say, "Good things come to those who wait.". I will begin my search when the appropriate time reveals itself, but until then I will go on trying to keep it off my mind for as long as possible so as not to go mad. Also, reminiscing about the fact that if I made a move too quickly I could end up in a very unpleasant relationship with an incompatible woman keeps me in check. Simply the prospect of finding the right partner is enough for me even if there are drawbacks. Nobody is exactly alike.

Oh, and babysteppin2003, my true love is not of this earth either.

I've Been Alone For 4 Years.......I Honestly Believe I Will Probably Be Alone For The Rest Of My Life...........I Did Find My Soul Mate And He Is And Always Will Be My One True Love......I Know That For Sure..........But Meeting Your Soul Mate Doesn't Guarantee That You Will Spend The Rest Of Your Life Together.........There Are Too Many Challenges In Relationships And Sadly, Some Of Us Can Never Successfully Meet Those Challenges...........This Is The Dirty Deal I Got In Life And Now I Just Have To Fold And Quit The Game............Good Luck Finding Your Soul Mate........And Even More Luck Holding On To Him................

life is what keeps me going. I am individual whether I have a mate or not. I do not feel like I'm a nobody because I don't have a mate. That's what keeps me going.
As far as finding my true love, my true love isn't of this world, He's in heaven preparing a place for me. He has the ability to love me more than anyone else on this earth does, and that's my true love!! He is mine and I am His!!

Yes, it could happen one day, but what keeps me going is everyday life. You need to live in the present and don't obsess over meeting your true love, having a soulmate is a fine thing but shouldn't let it define who you are, and let it consume your thoughts, good luck in your search.

What keeps me going? Sometimes I don't go at all. I get very lonely many times. I see other people together and it makes me think "when will I ever get to that point?"
But TBH, I think it's guilt, of all things. My last relationship was hurtful for both parties, and I resolved never to hurt anyone in that way again, even if it means being single for the rest of my life. It's a small sacrifice, but it will keep someone happier.

just knowing that there are so many people out there and i need to give everyone a chance otherwise i could miss a lot of opportunities. also i dont have to find the right girl right away i have time even though everyone makes it seem horrible if they dont have a bf or gf. i turn 16 tomorrow so i still have a lot of time. plus im friends with the girl i like and shes amazing so maybe something will happen.

Man I hope youre right. I'm 19 and have never had a girlfriend. I just cant seem to find a girl I like who's single. I dont know what keeps me going, just the fact that when I do find her I will be thrilled to no end.

For me, its knowin i'm still young and theirs time to find that special someone. knowin to, that if my current relationship doesn't work out, it won't be the end of the world but that I learned one more thinga bout myself in relationship matters and know what not to look for in that special someone!!! I"m one of those people that believe everything happens for a reason, rather then luck or that it just happens. I think every relationship experience just leads u one step closer in the arms of that special someone, who ever that is.. Just make sure ur lookin for love in the right ways, just go over what hasn't work in the past and take a different approach in your dating.... You'll find him..........its just matter of when.. its not if!

What keeps me going is knowing i have time to focus on myself and to do everything i have always wanted to do. before i get tangled up again. Being with someone is not everything,its what makes you happy. I know i will find my true love someday because i know i am right on track i feel it will come by way soon.I have been through alot and i know sooner then later it will come.Im going off to college soon,so i feel i may have some luck their or when i get my dream Job.

I think it's just knowing that one day you will get to be with someone and be happy. It can be hard sometimes, especially when you have seen a bunch of happy couples. But you can always have fun along the way to finding Mr. Right
