I forgot to add Yaroslav Popovych and Cadel Evans.
Or you could rate them all.
Thanks again.

Not Evans, he has not been able to counter any move so far.
Soler- He did very little in the Alps (except for his breakaway) He was dropped today. So hes no the best
Popovych-He could be but we may never find out because he looks like Contadors chief luitenant in years to to come. Popo could win lesser Grand Tours though. (podium in the Giro)
Vino-Minus his injuries he is the best climber. He fought up the Col Perrysor (sp) and he wasnt in the best of form. But with his injuries he is not, but who would?
Levi-Can not accelarte up the climbs to be effective enough
Kloden-Has not done anything. Just along for the ride in the Mts.
Kashekin-Same thing as Kloden
Sastre-One of the better climbers, noted by his 6th place. But he is not as strong as the perviously metined except for Popo and Kashekin.
Rasmussen-Great Climber. Really Great Climber.
Contador-Great Climber. Really Great Climber. BUT he can Attack like no other up the climbs. I think he attacks around 6 times today. If he has that strengh he is the best climber.

We'll find out on Wednesday. They all have very good reasons to want to be the first one up the Col d’Aubisque. The first one to the top is the best climber.
I'm putting my money on Alberto Contador.
EDIT: There is a very good possibility that Soler will try to get away on one of the earlier climbs on Wednesday. To try to get points in the King Of the Mountain competition. The other riders may well be willing to let him go. It is also possible that Discovery will give Popo the green light to go for the KOM jersey. Forcing Rabobank to chase, if he can get far enough ahead. Discovery still has some cards to play. It will be a very interesting stage. Heck it's even possible that Levi will try to get away on one of the early climbs, but that move would be destined for failure. But it could set up later moves.
It's gonna be a great stage to watch.
Well, Discovery threw everything they had at Rasmussen, but he was just too strong.
Now we know who the best climber is.

How do you define better. If you mean who is going to win the tour, I suspect Rasmussen. But i'm very impressed with Contador. The man climbs great, time trials great, and has the ability to accelerate wuickly on inclines to put pure climbers in a world of hurt. I suspect he will come back and win.

If not for the early accident, this would definitely be Vino's tour, but Contador is looking impressive. If he can drop Rasmussen in the next few stages, he's got a great chance.

I am very impressed with Juan Mauricio Soler and Alberto Contador. Contador kicked butt today and so did Vino!
Soler showed his experience today. He and Contador will be forces to be reckoned with in the future.

Right now Michael... next year, Alberto. He is good, young, and fast. He will be the next Indurain for sure.
