I had a similar problem ith a neighbor years ago on L.I. I think putting a complaint against the owner with the police dept should do the trick. They can guide you on how to take action in court.

There need to be some thing approximately the age of 14 or 15 that brings those emotions to younger individuals. It is a elaborate age to get by way of. For years, you've been a little one. Then, immediately, your frame is exchanging, maturity looms and your brain will get all combined up. Every one in every of us is going by way of a few equivalent emotions at the moment, and it's handy to get depressed. If you are a lady, you're satisfied you're repulsive, your brow has acne, your girlfriends are catty, and the boyfriends flow away. If you're a boy, you consider you're a dud at schoolwork, that ladies do not such as you, and can not stand your mothers and fathers telling you what to do. The technique to recover from that is to get busy. Make peers, move locations, do matters. Get routine. Giggle along with your girlfirends. Help your Mom with some thing. Play with the puppy. Go for a hike. Take a flower to the neighbor. Above all, smile! Pretty quickly, you'll be able to be such a lot amusing and so standard, you should not have time to be depressed. So, get on with it. Chances are that, by the point you've reached sixteen, you'll be able to surprise the way you might have felt this manner.

It looks like New Jersey is very specific in defining a dangerous dog:
"a. The municipal court shall declare a dog to be potentially dangerous if it finds by clear and convincing evidence that the dog:

(1) caused bodily injury as defined in N.J.S.2C:11-1(a) to a person during an unprovoked attack, and poses a serious threat of bodily injury or death to a person, or

(2) severely injured or killed another domestic animal, and

(a) poses a threat of serious bodily injury or death to a person; or

(b) poses a threat of death to another domestic animal, or

(3) has been trained, tormented, badgered, baited or encouraged to engage in unprovoked attacks upon persons or domestic animals.

b. A dog shall not be declared potentially dangerous for:

(1) causing bodily injury as defined in N.J.S.2C:11-1(a) to a person if the dog was provoked, or

(2) severely injuring or killing a domestic animal if the domestic animal was the aggressor.

For the purposes of paragraph (1) of this subsection, the municipality shall bear the burden of proof to demonstrate that the dog was not provoked."

Your town or county may have different laws - best place to start is contacting the Animal Control Officer for your area and discussing the problem.

Call animal control. They will help. If you are aware of the names of any of the kids the dog has chased, give animal control those names. That dog needs to be put down because it is a threat to the people and animals in your neighborhood. Good luck, and I hope your little furry friend is doing better.

tomorrow morning call Animal Control in your area. If you live in a place like I do, rural, and without a Humane Society, it is time to call the cops....If you can Video tape the dog chasing the kids, and TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DOGS INJURIES, show those to either animal control or the police........

I don't know what you could do about that dog.

But, on an unrelated note, if you're ever changing the anti-freeze in your car, be sure to keep it away from your chihuahua. Aparently, anti-freeze is deadly to dogs if they drink it, but for some reason, the dumb things just lap it right up. Just something every dog owner should be aware of.

If the other dog caused injury to your dog, then call the police or animal control. What they decide to do is entirely up to them.

you need to call the police or animal control and tell them about it...they can't keep that dog if it is repeatedly attacking your dog or if it is chasing children
