There is this 6 yr old girl on my street and she hanngs out w/ me (12) and my sis (13) and my friend (12). She's been trying to act like us and somehow that's turning her into a complete brat! Any advice?????????? Like, wha should we do???? HELP!!!!!!♥

It's normal for a 6 year old to look up to a "Big Kid" like yourself. Like someone before me said, be on your best behavior around her. She's probably trying to make herself look cool in front of you.

This is an extreme situation, so i'd say? Set down restrictions. Ask him to do something politely, then, if he doesn't do it, TELL him. Take things away, and limit what he does until his behavior gets better. Most importantly, try to talk to him. Ask his opinion on things, praise him for things he does well, and remember that unless something is important, don't make him feel bad about it. He most likely feels sad, and somewhat confused. It will be hard at first, he WILL resist, and fight, and yell. But stay strong. My brother was exactly like this, you could have been describing him. He made my mom do everything, he yelled at her, and made us all feel weaker than him. It really does work, I've seen it with my own eyes. My brother has cleaned up, got a job, and actually gets off his butt once and a while! (:

if she is acting like you and you say she is a brat then what does that make your behaviour? A six year old should not be playing with your age. It is too big a differance in maturity. Talk to her mum and just tell her you would rather she didn't hang out with you as you donot feel it is best for her age to be with 12 year olds

If your actions and behaviors look strange to you when acted out by a 6 year old then you, yourself should not be acting that way.
If you think she is a brat when she acts like you then one of two things is going on.
1. You are extremely jealous of the newcomer into your clique.
or
2. You and your friends are brats yourselves and need to look at yourselves to see what of your behaviors could be changed.

She looks up to you.. The best advice is be on your best behavior around her.. She will mimic everything you do..

When she comes around - tell her "GO AWAY AND PLAY WITH KIDS YOUR OWN AGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Do not allow her to hang around with you.
