I was thinking about Star trek intro "To go where no man has gone before...". After the whole of space and time has been explored, parallel universes, alternate realities, whatever, what will be left for us or any intelligent life to discover will be God.

> Will spirituality and God be the ultimate and

Spirituality existed long before mankind invented gods. And it will exist as long as there are intelligent, reasonable beings.

So brilliant it inspires not only scientists and explorers, but also theists.

Or even better : we will discover that the gods we were looking for since the dawn of mankind are, in fact, US (not unlike one day we will become the martians we have dreamed about for so long). But then, maybe we will be smart enough not to call ouselves gods...

Or maybe it is that what will be left for us to discover at the end of the world is yet another false god like Sha Ka Ree (Star Trek V)?

I always loved that good and spiritual being that was Gene Roddenberry. It only makes his atheist's stance more powerful, and his disappearance, heartbreaking.

"We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing, all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes." (Gene Roddenberry)

God is Soverign, meaning He is All powerful, All seeing. All knowing and Has no beginning nor end and what He does is for His own gratification and to try to figure out God would make you as smart as He is and this impossible as He is Holy and cannot look upon sin [All mankind] since the fall in the garden of Eden.
He provided the bible as a guide for us to live by like a road map. Also showing us the future Check it out'

Spirituality is an on going and never ending process and it is the quest for deeper meaning in our lives, rather than actually discovering it, it is the continuous search that gives our life meaning.

I sincerely hope that science, religion, philosophy come close to but never quite provide us with the answers. It is the mystery which drives us forward to find out whats around the next corner to exceed ourselves and by extension those around us.

Space is so vast we will never have conquered it. But as our knowledge of high energy physics and cosmology improves over time, people will begin to wonder about their religions and what the truth really is.

Its only a matter of time. Just recently we have seen priests molesting young boys, evangelicals doing prostitutes, rabbi murders wife, and on. Although they were preaching, its obvious they did not believe any of it themselves. In time more of them will be exposed while at the same time we will know more about cosmology and the universe we live in.

Keen Observation.........Yes.
And so many humans ask the same questions over and over,
What is the purpose of life?, Why were we sent here?, Is there a God?, Does God love us?, Can we know God?, and the answers to all these questions are staring mankind right in the face!

Excellent question. There is no place for gods in advanced minds. There will always be mysteries, so spirituality (ie. The Force from StarWars) has a secured future.
