If you keep it maintained, should go 200k.

I have a 2000 F-150 4x4 Off Road W/5.4 V8, Auto. It has 128.000 Miles on it .Sill get 18MPG on rd. 15-16 in TWN. Don't burn oil. I hoping for another 30,000 to 40,000 out of it. I have changed transmission fluid three times changed filters twice. Have changed all fluids in running gear twice. I change oil ever 4,000 miles, (use a full synthetic oil). A friend has a 99 with180,000 . Still going strong. You will get out of them what you put in them.

I've got a 98 Dakota with 150,600 miles right now and it's fine. It's the driver, not the car that prolongs life.

If you do the basic maint , like oil change fuel filters, plugs , stuff like that. I have a 92 F-150 with 200,000 miles. Fix the things that brake and keep maint.

That depends on how well you maintain it. A well-maintained Ford truck can easily last 200-300k miles before it "kicks."

I've seen a quite a few of 98s/99s with bad 5.4L engines after 90k miles. I wouldn't press my luck with that one. Them engines are expensive too. Good luck..

That all depends on you.

If you keep up the maintenance and drive it normally, you should get at least another 100K out of it. And then who knows how many more you can add to that????

Just remember, if you do drive it another 100,000 miles, you'll burn about $30,000 worth of gas. It ain't nothing to brag about financially.
