The fact that there is no record of His early life only makes it more believable. Who would have recorded the events/words of Jesus life prior to His ministry's beginning at 30? As far as the world was concerned, He was no one special, therefore there would have been no one documenting it. The tiny excerpts of His birth and childhood were told by His mother to the gospel writers. There was no point in discussing His life as a teen. Everything that needed to be said was said when He was an adult, what extra life giving words could He have given?

At the age the gospels go quiet Jesus I think was 13. This was the age he was to marry as a Jew. To declare he had a wife would be catastrophic to the story.

Jesus I feel existed albeit very different to the gospels. A great seer he had an eye for injustice, and in times of such hardship, appealed to the dispossessed. Christianity practices all that this individual from history preached against prostituting his legacy. Jesus was no different to characters like Buddha who became bigger than life and ultimately get re-packaged for political, and economic gain.

there is no gap.....he did as a normal Jewish boy should be doing...going to temple, learning his father's trade, helping around the house, etc...none of this is mentioned because it is a normal Jewish boy until he went about his father's work....
